    Role

    EMX Digital in New York is looking for an experienced digital marketing manager with a background in the adtech, programmatic, marketing services or advertising agency industries to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing & Training,  you will manage the development and implementation of digital marketing programs and campaigns, working cross-functionally with various internal teams and external partners. You will also drive brand awareness for EMX Digital and support event strategy for all in-house and external events, as well as the creation of thought leadership messaging.     Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies for expanding the EMX ecosystem.
    • Plan, develop, and implement a variety of marketing programs, campaigns, promotions and ad hoc initiatives working closely with sales, partnerships, product marketing, training, marketing communications, internal/external agencies and legal.
    • Develop performance objectives and evaluate program effectiveness based on those predetermined performance objectives. Conduct post-mortem reviews and report results and recommendations to close the loop.
    • Mandate will span all growth initiatives including education, driving adoption including go-to-market planning for new products, and other forms of engagement.
    • Support event strategy including in-house and external events, roundtables, regional and global partner summits.
    • Oversee the creation of thought leadership messaging in conjunction with the Product Marketing team.
    • Provide regular status reports and timelines for key projects. Proactively maintain effective communications to ensure that all relevant internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, are informed of marketing objectives, activities and results.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years of experience in a marketing strategy role with experience in digital marketing, web technology and/or advertising working with global brands or agencies
    • Experience managing SEM campaigns
    • Experience managing social (paid and non-paid) in LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit
    • Skilled in Google Adwords and Analytics
    • Messaging and content development experience — translating concepts and insights into marketing programs for technical and business audiences
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to think creatively about challenging problems
    • Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

    Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of the ad tech, programmatic, marketing services, or agency ecosystem
    • Experience in product, developer or technical marketing
    • Hands-on experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar
    • Basic knowledge of WordPress or equivalent
