    Role

    The Director of Publisher Sales, APAC is responsible for prospecting and activating new publishers within EMX’s supply marketplace. The strategist is responsible for negotiating and closing the appropriate partnership agreements with publishers that will ultimately lead to the growth of EMX’s network, in the form of both revenue generating potential and premium, brand-name partners.  This role requires a vast understanding of Publisher monetization schemes and experience with managing and closing publisher relationships, in addition to a developed understanding of the regional competitive landscape – specifically in the programmatic/header bidding sector.

     

    Responsibilities

    Operational activities of this position

    •  Responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and closely publisher agreements along EMX Supply product lines (technology and media).
    • Strong aptitude for identifying opportunities and structuring the right contracts with publisher clients.
    • Identify & Execute new opportunities on existing publisher network (eg. – developing/scaling publisher relationships to their full potential).
    • In a highly-detailed capacity, the tracking of opportunities through the sales funnel and properly communicate a pipeline of activity upward.
    • Direct communication with Publisher Strategy and Operation teams about insights and market opportunities.
    • Represent EMX at industry events, and deliver ROI on all marketing and sales expenditures, while also communicating regional insights and trends.
    • Player/coach with potential to grow into a regional lead and manage the APAC supply sales team.

    Key measures of success

     

    1. Ability to close publishers against assigned, quarterly revenue, profit, and activation goals.
    2. Ability to navigate a CRM and EMX’s sales tools to analyze and discover new opportunities in-market.
    3. Execution and success of new media buys.
    4. Submit Pipeline Reports and Activity Updates, written weekly to Global Head of Publisher Strategy.

    Key Experiences/Achievements  

     

    • Strong understanding of online advertising trends, and the global online marketplace – with an intimate familiarity within the programmatic space
    • Experience in working with publishers and success at driving monetization results
    • Working knowledge of ad serving solutions and knowledge of how media is bought and sold in today’s landscape
    • BS/ BA Degree from accredited university
